Magic Pandas Foods Ltd is a New Zealand company that was established in 1995 and specialises in the production of frozen finger foods and frozen ready to eat microwavable meals. We proudly have a reputation for producing high quality products using local and imported ingredients.

Located in Mt Wellington, Auckland we have been supplying the foodservice and retail sector throughout New Zealand for over 16 years. New and existing customers can be assured we will continue to provide exceptional quality products.

About us and our journey

Magic Pandas Foods Ltd is a small family operated business that prides itself on producing delicious quality finger foods and convenient frozen ready to eat microwavable meals.

Magic Pandas first started manufacturing in 1995 from modest facilities in Panmure, Auckland. Our initial signature product was the Pork Wonton which continues to be our most popular product in the foodservice sector.

Soon after, we saw the introduction of our first ready to eat frozen microwaveable meal, Wonton Soup.

Our range now includes a wide variety of Dim Sim, Dumplings, Steamed Buns and Meat Balls.
These are available in the freezer section at selected supermarkets, Asian grocery stores, produce outlets as well as for foodservice throughout New Zealand.

In 2003, due to growing demand, we moved to our current location in Mt Wellington, Auckland - a modern, purpose built manufacturing facility. We also completed and have in place the highly regarded HACCP-based Food Safety Programme (FSP) which is approved by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) and involves annual audits by a qualified external auditor to ensure continued compliance.

Magic Pandas Foods aims to continue offering delicious, quality, convenient products at reasonable prices using authentic recipes.
